Archibald Campbell Denison commissioned into The Black Watch in 1910. He was the son of Joseph Basil Denison of Balure, Bembridge, Isle of Wight, and Annie Louisa Campbell, sister of William McLaren Campbell. He was killed in action with the 2nd Battalion at the Battle of Loos on 25th September 1915.
